The Koenigsegg CC: faster than a speeding bullet?
The supercar with the north European personality is the brainchild of Swedish entrepreneur Christian von Koenigsegg. Koeningsegg gave design partner Ergonomidesign a simple brief: speed. The result was the fastest series production car in the world allowed on ordinary roads. The Guinness Book of World Records hailed the Koenigsegg “the world’s most powerful production car”. Skiptrip: Reducing the need for face-to-face meetings
The video conference service company Skiptrip, is currently developing a network of video meeting rooms that will make video conferencing highly accessible and enjoyable. Ergonomidesign co-ordinated and directed the collective efforts of interior designers, interaction designers, graphic designers, technical developers and marketing strategists to design, prototype and test the service concept. The state-of-the-art video meeting facilities will help companies improve bottom-line performance by cutting down on business travel, by boosting group productivity, and by reducing carbon emissions. Doro Care Electronics: Keeping Us Connected
As we get older, there’s no denying it gets more difficult to do the things we enjoy or are used to doing. Even simple tasks like dialling a phone number or using the TV remote control – little things that bring us pleasure and keep us connected with people we depend on and enjoy being with.

RTI-Sports Ergon: Advancing Bike Handles
Why are bike saddles designed differently for men and women but not bike handles? The German company RTI-Sports wanted to challenge this and asked Ergonomidesign to design ergonomic, gender-specific handles.
The first bike handles from the RTI-Sports brand Ergon were launched in 2004. Despite the fact that they are quite costly compared to competing handles, RTI-Sports sell more than 50,000 pairs per year. Read more >

Pfizer Genotropin Pen: De-Alienating Injection Devices
Genotropin is a man-made human growth hormone used to treat children and adults with growth hormone deficiencies. In 1991, Pharmacia (now Pfizer) decided to redevelop its existing injection device for Genotropin.
The Genotropin Pen, launched in 2003, makes it easier for children to accept the fact that they need to inject growth hormone on a daily basis. This friendly device hides the needle and is easily customizable with the aid of exchangeable plates. Read more >

Bahco Ergo Screwdriver: Using Both Hands
In 1978, Bahco and Ergonomidesign discovered that craftsmen at work commonly use both hands to tighten a screw. User tests showed that efficiency would be improved by 70 percent if the screwdriver handle enabled a two-hand grip.
The first so-called Ergo screwdriver was launched in 1982 and was followed by other hand-held tools such as chisels, pliers, knives, saws, paint scrapers and adjustable spanners. More than 1.5 million Ergo screwdrivers were sold in 2004. Read more >
